Clif’s “Pick of the
Week”:
Punisher: War Journal #1. I’ve been a Punisher fan for a while now but he always
comes off as one dimensional. “I kill mob bosses. It’s not always easy but it’s
always fun.” Well, here’s his chance to get back to the real Marvel Universe
and it doesn’t disappoint. Tying directly into Civil War #5, we find Frank
getting involved as one of his “loose ends” runs into spider-Man and the Civil
War. A great start to (to what hopefully will be) a great Punisher title.
Fraction’s writing is crisp and gritty while Olivetti’s art is looking almost a
great as id did in Space Ghost. Get a copy while you still can!
