Welcome to Outcries! It’s November – another month has
gone by and it’s time for a new FEATURE OF THE MONTH! World War Hulk,
Sinestro Corps, Darkseid and the Anti-Monitor reappearing, the Monarch building
an army, the Suicide Squad back in action – there’s been plenty of activity
going on with villains - and it all seems to be coming to even bigger events!
So – in “honor” of all the villains out there out FEATURE
OF THE MONTH for NOVEMBER is VILLAINS!!! Check out the Feature Wall throughout for November for your
favorite villain – or an anti-hero or two! They’re all part of our Feature of the Month for November!

Clif’s Pick of the Week: Action Comics #858. Johns with
Donner on Action has been good but it almost has never hit
a regular schedule (mainly due to the artist, but...). With issue #858 we get Geoff
Johns writing solo and he's joined by new artist Gary Frank in part
one of "Superman and the Legion of Super-Heroes". In
the many renditions of the Legion, we have never really (that I know of) gotten
the story of what happened to Superman(boy)'s old Legion. Here, we will
hopefully get that answer. There's a lot of mystery and not a lot of answers
yet, but it's only the beginning. Frank's art is crisp as ever and if anyone
can get Action Comics back to being one of DC's best sellers, it'll be Johns.
Good place to start reading a Superman book before Final Crisis
hits and makes it impossible to jump in.
