Welcome to Outcries! It’s another busy week so let me just fill you in on what’s coming this week – and you know – there’s some great stuff! (As usual).

Clif’s Pick of the Week: Green Lantern #25. This week we got part 11 of the Sinestro Corps War storyline that has been going for the past 13 months now (well, maybe not 13 but it's felt like it) and it brought the story to a huge ending. I have been reading GL on a monthly basis for the last four years or so, and storyline to storyline before that, and I think this could possibly the best Lantern story I have ever read. It has all the clichés like great dialogue and great art (and it is amazing art), but Johns has evolved the Lanterns into a whole new mythology and that's what I loved. New "Lantern Laws" are being written. 5 more Corps are coming and all leading into one larger battle (eventually). And one huge event coming in '09 that makes me care even less about Final Crisis. Knowing that the first issues of this story have all sold out, I highly recommend picking up the HC of this when it comes out in February.
The Best of the Rest:
Ghost Rider #18 - He's a what? Really?! This whole time?
The Darkness #1 - Great new start to a title that desperately needed a revamp.
The Hunter #1 - Pretty good, comic from a new company. Only problem is that it's quarterly.
Green Arrow/Black Canary #3 - If that's a real death, Ollie's gonna be mighty angry with the Amazons.
