Welcome to Outcries! Busy! Busy! I’ve just got time to tell you that there’s a TON of New Comics arriving this week – Plus the latest DC Heroclix Crisis Booster Packs! And the next MTG Tournament will be this Friday, February 29, 2008 starting at 7:00 PM!
Clif’s Pick of the Week: Incredible Hercules #114. Have I mentioned how good this title has been since changing to Hercules? I am amazed at every issue so far (all three of them). I will freely admit that I didn't read much Hercules before this. I never cared for the guy. In the 3 short months of this title's life, I have fallen in love with him, metaphorically and literally, sadly. This is one of the few titles out right now that will completely take you off guard when you read it. And just remember, "Hydra Blood doth do Wonky Things to Herc"!
The Best of the Rest:
Zorro #1 – Not much "Zorro" yet, but very good storytelling and it already worked with the Lone Ranger.
Ultimate X-Men #91 – I know he's fake, but I'm kinda scared of Ultimate Apocalypse
Immortal Iron Fist Orson Randall Green Mist Death, $3.99 – A “one shot” historical tie-in to the ongoing Immortal Iron Fist title – the “classic style” of this with different artists interpreting the various adventures is cool – real hero stuff for fans (new and old) of Iron Fist.
