There’s only time for a quick update on a couple of things and to let everyone know what’s coming this week!

Clif’s Pick of the Week: Tangent: Superman's Reign #1. As most people are aware, DC is pretty messed-up right now with far too many crossovers, tie-Ins and one-shots. It feels like everything is supposed to go with something else. Though this one might go down that path, one issue in and we're off to a good start. I enjoyed most of the old Tangent issues when they came out, and I have to admit that I'm a little excited to see them all in one, larger book. With twists and turns around every corner (well, maybe only two of them), we get great art in Matthew Clark and Dan Jurgens seems to be writing something worth reading again. It's a mini that continues during Final Crisis, so I don't expect it to tie in too much, but it is DC, so beware.

War is Hell #1 - Who better to write a mature reads war story than Garth Ennis? No one, that's who.

Want to work in a Comic Store? Outland Comics currently has positions open for both full-time and part-time personnel!
A Full-time Manager position is now available – responsibilities include the general day-to-day operation of the store including supervision of occasional part-time personnel. Previous retail managerial experience is essential. The right individual will be someone who is conscientious and customer service oriented along with great attitude and a strong interest and understanding of comics and gaming. A well groomed appearance and professional attitude is mandatory! Call for details!
Part-time employee positions are also available – the hours and schedule will be flexible (Primarily Saturdays and some evenings). Previous retail experience would be a plus but not necessary. The right individual will be someone who is conscientious and customer service oriented with an interest or understanding of comics and gaming.
