Welcome to Outcries! – Free Comic Book Day
This year’s Free Comic Book Day was a big success for Outland Comics with a big turn-out of people for both the Free Comics and to see members of the 501st Garrison of the Star Wars Costuming Club and Spider-Man! It was a great deal of fun and our best FCBD to date.
Thanks to the 501st, Spider-Man and to everyone for stopping by!
Congratulations to the winners of our drawing for an exclusive Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer Movie T-shirt and Full-size Movie Poster– the Movie Poster went to Emily Burns of Idaho Falls, and the Silver Surfer T-Shirt went to Michelle King of Rexburg!
You all may (hopefully) have been wondering why there hasn’t been a “real” Outcries! for the past couple of weeks. Well we’ve been very busy behind the scenes and if you managed to make it in this week and especially on FCBD you’ve noticed that we’ve rearranged the store to provide some much needed room and a much improved “flow” to all of the great things we carry. So far the feedback has been very positive (and the looks on the faces of the people who come in and wonder if they’re in the right store has been priceless!) Let us know what you think!
We’ll get back to the normal newsletter routine as soon as we can but in the meantime we’ll at least be able to provide you with a listing of what’s coming for the week!
