Clif’s Pick of the Week: Batman: Confidential #7. With the first story-arc under its belt, Confidential is running fuel steam ahead with part one of "Lovers and Madmen", in which we will get the long lost origin of the Joker. If that doesn't sell it to ya already, then maybe the writer will: Michael Green has made a name for himself as one of the writers for the hit TV show Heroes. Yeah. Thought that would get your attention. In this 6-part story, we get to see that before the Clown Prince was born, he was down-and-out Jack (of the Napier variety from the original Batman?) whose destiny was always meant to be intertwined with that of the Batman. A great start to what will hopefully be an even greater story. If the story continues down that same path as this first issue, this could be the next "must have" for Batman fans.
